Stephen Parker joined MC2 Accountants Corporate Finance team in 2013. Stephen’s role involves advising across a number of areas, including debt restructuring, property transactions, capital and debt funding solutions, business valuations and financial modelling.

Stephen’s role includes the preparation of banking documents, financial modelling, preparing of proposals and reports. Clients include businesses operating across the property, construction, hospitality and financial services sectors.

Education, previous work experience

Stephen is a fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is also a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Stephen holds a Masters in Financial Economics from University College Cork, and a Bachelors (Hons) degree in Business from the Cork Institute of Technology.

Stephen was previously employed by Allied Irish Bank, where he worked in the Commercial & Corporate debt restructuring team for 2.5 years. The team focused on restructuring deals with bank exposures ranging from €1m – €10m across a broad range of SME clients.

Prior to joining Allied Irish Bank, Stephen traveled for a year and lived and worked in Sydney, Australia.

Personal

Stephen is a keen hockey player and has represented his province at under 16, 18, 21, and senior levels. He also surfs regularly.
