Graduate Programme 2024
We are looking to recruit candidates for our 2024 Graduate Programme.
The MC2 Graduate Programme will offer you the opportunity to work with one of the largest independent, full-service financial business solutions firms in Ireland. You will be joining a team of highly experienced and qualified individuals and will gain exposure to a thriving practice environment. Our Flexible Working Policy and Four Day week has been built to ensure that our team can enjoy a better work-life balance, whilst providing the exceptional service that our customers value. Candidates will benefit from mentoring from our senior staff which will be greatly beneficial in their studies and future careers.
The purpose of the role is to assist with various aspects of financial accounting, auditing and tax compliance work. Specific duties will include:
- Assisting senior staff with engagement metrics and provide high quality deliverables to clients
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts for Companies, Soletraders and Partnerships
- Auditing of various client sectors
- Preparation of tax returns including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE & VAT
- General bookkeeping duties
- Acting as key support to the other Team members, specifically through the provision of financial information on a timely basis
- Supporting other departments across the practice where needed
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
The successful candidates will possess a high level of initiative with the ability to take direction and prioritise workload. Interested candidates should also possess be:
- Personally motivated with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Looking to study for a professional accountancy qualification CPA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent as part of the Training Programme
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
